during what time are you the hungriest??

I ask this question because I find that the hungriest moments for me are breakfast and dinner time.. the rest of the day I am happy with munching on a little of this and a little of that. The downfall to that is the calories add up before you know it.

Before bed which is why I leave myself at least 500 calories to eat what I want before hitting the sack. A big bowl of cereal hits the spot. Nomnom.
Love your food or risk failure. No quick fixes, this is a lifestyle change. No extremes are needed just consistency.

My problem times have actually changed. It used to be that I was always starving right before bed and would have a small snack after dinner to deal with it, but now I don't get hungry at all at that time.

Instead, I now find I'm hungriest at about 11am and again at at around 2.30-3pm. I just make sure I have some healthy snacks on hand and work it into my calorie allowance. Simple! Smile

I am actually hungry the very first thing in the morning. I take a pill at 5:30 a.m. that has to be taken on empty stomach. I drink 20 oz of water with the pill, get ready for work and then eat breakfast about 7:30. Often when I am at work around 2-3 p.m. I start looking for a snack. That is where I agree with Sheonamcc. Healthy and accounted for handy food. Now it is usually a Mini Babybel light or string cheese. I keep homemade pita chips, yogurt, hummus & carrots around most of the time. I'm trying to think of some new snacks if anyone has any ideas!

I found that a half cup of fruit yoghurt carrie me through.

I am probably hungriest lunch time because I tend to have a light breakfast. I am less hungry though since I started eating smaller portions but more often (5 small meals) because this has allowed my stomach to shrink down to a normal size. At first it was tricky, but once the stomach shrinks I was fine. I also drink loads of water as this is a natural appetite suppressant.
