hi all... been using this app forever, but recently was told that my basal metabolic rate is around 1364 cals per day. when i have sleeping and resting in the app, it says i burn 1968 per day! way too high! i cant find a way on the site or the app to change this unless i put my weight wrong (way less) or what not. for so long i thought i was burning like 500 more calories per day than i really am Sad help!!!!

The problem is it can only ever give an average. I presume whoever told you your BMR did a respiration based test which is specific to you...

The important question however is are you losing weight as it is and are you happy with your loss speed as it stands?

The only suggestion i can make is not to take the default save of sleep and enter it as the option 'other' abductions enter your own cal amount. The site can only take an average based on age height weight etc.
