It's weird that before I started dieting, I never ate ice cream unless I was with a group of people who were also eating it. Now, I want it all the time. I can usually get away with eating just a small amount to satisfy the craving for a couple of weeks. Chips or crackers are another danger food. I will eat the whole bag/box if given the opportunity. I basically had to go cold turkey off of those for life.

I love ice cream, especially chocolate...so I now eat fudge bars, they're fat free and low calorie and "feed" my craving...

meat... and more meat... I can easily eat a pound of steak, and still want more. It also includes seafood. Also, alcohol - it makes me crave chips, and greasy food.

I'm addicted to pasta, any kind of pasta or rice. If I cook a box of pasta, I will continue to eat even when my tummy is full.

All food is dangerous, to me. My diet consists of high carbs and my portions are too large. If I could cut down my portions, that would be half the battle.

i think that most people get it wrong with their diet, it's not like you have to give up on foods completely, just cut it down in half so you can still have it and lose weight

George, then why don't you?
I find that the easiest way of staying away from big portions of high carb meals is not to include any pasta or rice AT ALL. If I eat a spoon, I'll eat a plate; but if it's not on my plate at all, I won't miss it.

Mostly peanut butter, chips, crackers, cookies. I DO NOT keep these things in the house because I have no control when they are around. I will easily take a spoon or two of peanut butter right out of the jar, adding hundreds of thoughtless and unneeded calories. In cooking, substitute peanut butter for PB2, which I have to make and therefore be more thoughtful about.

I love all the sweets too but am sticking to diet 99%...
the only food I cheat on once in a while is a peanut butter sandwich and thanks to fatsecret is not that that as a danger food as I thought......I do feel tired without the sweets.........My secret to over come cravings is to homemade a craving...example... I like syrup on french toast but syrup is high in sugars.... so instead I boil strawberries and blueberries and added to my french toast like syrup.....of course all grain bread and 1 whole egg & 2 egg whites for french toast.....

-2.4 lbs in one day
Yeah but it feels so good to look at the scale and see that kind of loss. I have kept it off so it could not have been water weight.

Dear Fat Secret - I'm actually Liking the New Food Diary Layout - Thank you.
PS - really impressed with the new spell correction and that you've put 'add multiple items' (ala the old food diary layout) back with all meals - very cool. Thank you. The little things do ...

Fruit
I have been having a few sliced strawberries every few days with a MIM or scrambled eggs. I use them as a garnish and that way I don't go overboard. No weight gain with a few berries!
