I came across this video exposing the outrageous calories and saturated fat levels in your typical Italian restaurant dishes. I knew they were bad but when you see the comparisons, it really puts it in very concrete terms.

I personally find the portion sizes they are showing to be giant size compared to what I would even be able to fit into my stomach. I think Italian food is slightly missunderstood in that sense. Western society has such an outrageous expectation when it comes to proportions. I would like to break off about as much of that plate as I would be able to eat myself, THEN calculate how much calories and fat are in that portion rather than an amount I would NEVER be able to fit into my stomach!

I agree with Joella. This is a calorie counting website, have a smaller portion. Simple.
Love your food or risk failure. No quick fixes, this is a lifestyle change. No extremes are needed just consistency.

weigh in
Good luck! I weigh in every day which has to stop. It is too easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing the scale drop so much in a week-that is because of water weight I am sure.
