I don't personally use it, but it's generally well-regarded. This isn't surprising, since it's based around the major compound lifts and incorporates progressive overload. That's most of the battle right there.

It's also similar to Starting Strength, which is fairly well tried and tested.

Try typing in the search for food box, the copy food link at the bottom will change to "add new food" you should then get a prompt to add new food to the database
