I started out at 268. just keep moving. Do low impact.. get in the pool, go for a walk (who cares if your slower.. you still working out), do DVD workouts at home. Just keep moving and journal your food! You will do great!!

I know that is may sound dumb or silly, but i find a song that i like and play it at least 5 times before i decided to quit or to move on to the next song. I usually pick songs that are at least 3 minutes long or a short television series to watch, like an episode of the golden girls. Find something that will keep you going , those minutes will get easier and the pounds will come off faster.

Keep going!! Every step counts! Smile

Like others stated -- Some exercise is better than no exercise.

I have bad knees and starting any exercise was difficult and painful. My doctor told me that water exercise and mild bike riding is good. I LOVE being in water and have my own swimming style. I remember struggling to swim one pool length ... now a month later ... 8-12 lengths!

It doesn't matter what exercise you will do, as long a you moved your body. At first it will not be that easy, but sooner or later you body will be use to it.

I started at 350lbs and I feel that swimming is the best exercise to start out with. not only is it better on my joints but it's fun to me, too. I am out there swimming literally almost everyday because I love it, it doesn't feel like exercise but at the same time I really work out doing it. And it doesn't have to be expensive if you don't have a pool. One of those small above ground pools from walmart is more than enough room to workout in.
Now that I've lost 80 lbs I'm challenging myself to learn how to ride a bike this fall. But I would absolutely love one of those cycles you use while sitting.
