Hi there,
Sorry for a long first post....
Here is the background of my weight loss story:
I am 1.7 meters and my max weight was 88 kilos in 2008 and so I have spent the best part of 4 years trying to loose weight, seen many Dr's and dietitians and had numerous tests and eating plans drawn up for me. Every time I loose between 1-3 kilos over 3-6 months then even though I exercise 3-4 times per week for 60 minutes and eat less than 2000 calories a day in my "normal eating" (ie between eating plans) I put it all back usually plus 1.
Last year I managed to finally get below 80 kilos and with using the HCG drops this year I have gotten down to 70 kilos - my goal is in sight but I cannot get down below 70. My original goal was 65 which I revised after speaking to a nursing sister to 67 but try as I might cannot get there.
My question is then how do I break this plateau and when I stop taking the Human Growth Hormone what vegan plan do I follow to maintain the goal?
Any help, ideas, tips, personal stories or links are highly appreciated.
Thanks for reading
Terri

PS - typical eating for a day is currently:
8:00 oatmeal with blueberries cooked in plain water and a dash of soya milk
10:00 an apple or orange or some seasonal fruit
12:30 10 HGC drops
13:00 a BIG salad, lots of greens, a sprinkle of nuts or seeds and a light drizzle of olive oil (maybe 1/2 tsp) and cider vinegar- sometimes 2 melba toast if i'm very hungry followed by HCG diet support vitimins and a CLA tablet
16:00 if hungry either small handful of nuts or an apple - usually I skip this snack
17:00 a tot of Jack Daniels on ice
18:00 HCG drops
18:30 dinner - a protein (chickpeas, lentils, beans etc) approx 1/2 or 3/4 cup cooked with steamed seasonal veg usually a cup and a small starch, 1/4 - 1/2 cup whole grain rice or occasionally pasta or slice or rye bread
1-2 evenings a week if we watch movies i'll have some home made popcorn about 100 grams lightly salted cooked in a tsp of coconut oil
Every day I drink between 1-2 liters of water and 3-4 cups of black unsweetened herbal tea and coffee

Are you adding up all your calories? If you consume less calories than you burn off for a prolonged period of time, you will lose weight. 2000 calories may be too many. A woman on a diet usually has the most success with a calorie intake of 12-1300 calories/day. You could also increase your work outs to 5x or more per wk., unless you are lifting weights. In that case, you need to allow the muscles you worked a 24 hr. recovery period. Cardio can be done most if not all days a week. Otherwise, looks like you are eating good foods. Nuts are high in calories and fat so make sure you are only eating about 10-12 of them at a time, Or just be sure to track all your calories. Just keep trying. Eventually you'll figure out what works for you. There are lots of experienced people on this site always willing to help.

Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries. I've been putting frozen raspberries in my protein shake.
