So my sister is doing a makeup course and I had to be a model for her when she was doing the body art part of it..she had to paint all over my back and take pictures as she went along for her portfolio,I didn't think much of it until I saw the pictures she printed today..I almost cried..! I look disgusting, I mean I knew in had weight to lose but I never realised how bad I actually look naked (bare backed in the pictures just) and I feel so down..I'm only on day two and I feel like crying into a calorific bottle of cider :'( help!

Instead of feeling down, use it as motivation. Keep that picture by your side and look at it any time you are craving the wrong foods or don't want to workout. Tell yourself how you felt at this moment when you first saw and that you don't ever want to go back.
If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.-George W Patton

The worst part is it is part of her permanent portfolio now so everyone is going to get to see it! Oh the shame Sad but that is a very good idea..! Maybe someday il be able to point the pictures out and no one will believe its me!! I hope! I just hope I can get past this stage quick so that I won't have to feel like this much longer..it's crappy Sad

apatrick hit it on the head! Remember how embarrassed/crappy you felt, that can be a great motivator!

Sasha: yes, everyone will see it. and yes, one day you WILL be able to tell people that it was your back!
Whether you think you can or think you can't: YOU'RE RIGHT!!

You can use that as a "before" picture and compare it someday to an "after" picture.

Thanks guys! Maybe after a few weeks I'll feel brave enough to post my before and during/after pictures..! It's definitely a motivator, it's weird how you don't seem to realise yourself how bad it's got until that ONE picture that just makes you stop and want to change!. Week one for me is over, I'm thinkn week 2 will be easier Smile
