Welcome! You'll have to think of your own incentives for why you should lose weight. It all comes down to the power within yourself. In your moments of weakness, you can depend on your friends to help you through those times.
Good luck on your journey!

We're all here for the very same reason. Motivation is key. Try asking yourself why you really want to lose weight. The answer is NEVER "to look good" or "to be thin". There is always something deeper than that.
Maybe you're hoping to find a partner? Maybe you're lonely? Maybe you're looking for acceptance? Maybe something completely different?
Start by asking yourself why you want to be thin. When you know the answer, then ask yourself "Why is that?". Then find the answer again. Repeat until you can't go any further. What you get to might very well be the deeper reason to lose weight. Once you know WHY you want to lose weight, then you will easier be able to find the drive to do it.
How can we go on a mission without knowing WHY we do it, right?
I wish you good luck on your journey. If you choose to, it can be an amazing one.
