How do I Delete an exercise from my exercise diary??

You have to go to that exercise and reduce it by the number of hours that you want to take off. For example, if I accidently said that I biked for 6 hours and I really only biked for 2, I would go to the exercise that I entered and reduce it by 4 hours.

If you click on the exercise. Right next to increase is a drop down arrow. You can click on reduce and then put in the hours that you want to reduce. Hope that this helps Smile

It makes more sense if you think of the exercise diary not in terms of adding or subtracting hours from it but shifting time between activities. At the start of each day, it defaults to 16 hours rest and 8 hours sleep- when you add an hour of biking, for example, it will automatically take that hour away from resting, as this is how it works for most people. The important thing to remember is you are always burning calories, it's just a matter of how many. I average about 1.2 cal a minute resting but more like 12 a minute running on the treadmill- 10x as much. The resting calorie burn may not be high but it's definitely not zero!

As funny as that is, it is not helpful to leave it as an activity that says you burn a gazillion calories. If its not accurate, you will just guess and probably overestimate what you burn, and that will lead you to take in more calories than your burn, causing a weight gain. I understand you don't burn a gazillion calories, but if its not right, its not right, and you are working with false information, and I don't want you to blame the system for not working in your weight loss, gain, maintanance journey because if something simple like this that can be fixed. realistically, it neds to say, approx 8hrs sleep, 8hrs rest and 8hrs of whatever activity you do during the day, including exercise. Click on the exercise you want to take off. Pull down the box and choose "reduce by" and then choose what you want to replace it with either "resting" or "sleeping".

They have resting and sleeping so that you can see an estimated total calories you burn a day. Your body is always using energy even when you are not "exercising".

Here's what I finally found worked, when you're on your main activity page for the day, scroll down (yes, who knew!) and the you'll see a listing of your activities, tap and hold on the activity you want to delete, and a new screen will pop up that allows you to update or delete that exercise!

On the website, when you view your exercise diary, there is a little x to delete it, and if you want to change the duration, you click on the activity.

On the website, the activity screen is divided into two main sections: Activity/Exercise, and Sleep/Rest. They have to add up to 24 hours, but FS adjusts RESTING (which you cannot modify) to account for the difference. I do not thing that reducing SLEEP will add to an Activity/Exercise (like biking) .. it will add to REST. It sounds from the posts here that it works differently on the mobile app (by asking where to add?).

Maybe the problem has to do with the "set default values" which you may have done inadvertently. which I have never experimented with.

Anyways, what I'd suggest is logging into the website if possible, and sorting it out there (especially your "default" activities).
