I am too obsessed with the scale. Sometimes more than once a day but always at least once a day. I even know better. I know that you should only weigh in once a week at the most. I really should put the scale in the closet until weigh in day.

I weigh myself 4 times a day, and I think it helps me a lot. I workout in the mornings and afternoons (before and after school) and weighing in before and after each workout is very motivating. It allows me to see trends, but also feel motivated when I see the drop over the course of a workout (even though I know it is all water weight)

Wednesday after circuit training is the formal weigh in when I notice new lows. occasionally after exercise, before bed, when I wake up. The occasional weigh ins vary between 3-5 pounds.

I weigh in daily. I coorelate my weight against my calorie burn in the diet calendar. This is very motivating. If I did not compare my weight to the calories burned, I would weigh only once per week, at most!

I weigh myself pretty much every day except Saturday and Sunday but I only record my weight on Mondays. I don't like peaks and valleys on the graph because the daily fluctuation adds too much noise.

Best time for doing exercise, morning or night?
I prefer to exercise in the morning too. Partly because by the time evening rolls around, I'm worn out (two toddlers will do that to you) and partly because I just know me. If I get up at 5:30am, ...
