Hi gang,

This is kind of a re-post, and I apologize for that. However, last time I posted this, I gave it a title that many of you guys probably wouldn't click on, and I think it's a shame to miss out on this. So this time, the title is to the point, and hopefully it will make more people read and use this.

I could go on and on about how impressed I am with this guy, but I'll get to the point:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRK4JW5QegA&feature=related

The whole 5 min. video is really interesting, but what I'm pointing at starter at 2:42 minutes.

Watch it please, then determine if this works for you. What have you got to lose?

Sure, it looks a little silly. The first times you do it, you will FEEL a little silly. Have a good laugh, but keep doing it. It actually kills your cravings.

I have had virtually no snacks since I learned about this. If I have had a snack, it has been a conscious choice, and not something dictated by emotions and strange urges.

This tool is such a relief for me to have. I hope it is for you also.

Heidi,
I'm not sure what's wrong, but it's not YouTube. It works perfect from here:

Can you see other youtube videos? Maybe some settings are wrong? Are you trying to load from an iPad? Isn't there something about iPads and flash videos?

I hope you work it out - this is worth the effort, I'd say. Smile

Had no trouble, but then I'm on a laptop (Windows). But very interesting, Keld. I'm going to try this! Thanks! Joyce

The reason is that Apple for some reason decided to NOT make the iProducts flash-compatible. That means that ANY webpage or app that requires flash will not be compatible with iPhone and iPads.
This is one of the main reasons that I love my Android tablet. It plays youtube and all the other sites perfectly fine. This morning I watched an awesome concert online while I was in the restroom. Smile

HATES Apple for the very thing I mentioned...funny, Bill Gates wasn't allowed to get away with it, how in the world....oh well, Shut UP, Baxie! It is what it is...

I've been trying his tips since I read your post last week, it is fantastic. I was having some horrible cravings, this has cut down my cravings all together and helped stop me in a few crisis moments! It is actually still pretty hard for me to determine when I am full, and when I am truelly hungry though. But definitly something I'm happy to be teaching myself!

LovingMomma, did you see the show I posted also? He talks about recalibrating the feeling of full and hungry.
Picture yourself very very hungry, at situation where you've been the most hungry ever. When you've got that feeling in you, then picture a time where you were overly super stuffed, you know, to the point where you are about to burst. When you have that one down, then try to mentally switch between the two feelings, back and forth some times. This kinda gives you a feeling of what you feel when, and actually makes it a little easier to determine actual, physical hunger.
It's awesome to see that the tapping is working for you. It still weirds me out that this actually does the trick. Why didn't we know this 20 years ago?

Baxie, I'm right there with your guy. Nothing with an apple logo gets to enter my house, unless it's a classic album from The Beatles. Smile

OK, I watched this guy, and you are right it does look extremely silly. It also reminds me a bit of the French women don't get fat theory. Not the tapping, eating and hungry part. I will keep this on the back burner. Right now I am stoked on the newness of the whole getting in shape thing, and don't want to eat that stuff, but experience has shown me that wears thin after awhile.

No I must have missed that, I will look for it! Im going to try that. It is so strange that something so silly, and simple actually works. I don't quite get it, but thats ok. It got me through supper craving for chocolate yesterday. I am going to look for your post, and try that. I have been working hard to feel hunger and fullness, and it is kind of one of those aha moments when you realize you have no idea what hunger and fullness feel like, and that could very likely be the reason why I have always had food issues!

It's really an eye opening experience, realizing that you don't know those feelings. It's DEFINITELY a good idea to get the hang of it. Look for my journal from Monday, there's a great youtube video, talking a little about it. You'll like it. I'll post next show this coming Monday.

Very interesting. Does that have to be done in that particular sequence or just a combination? I will have to try it and see. Thanks for the repost/bump!

Do it the way McKenna describes it, Sherillynn. Oh, and this works on many kinds of stress-related things. I can also help you quit smoking, drinking, fear of flying, spiders, FLYING SPIDERS, etc. Smile

Tapping has been a big part of my appetite control. I use it with clients, too. They love it because they find it empowering.
