My brother is getting married in May and I need to lose 25 pounds till then. I know it`s not that much but I’m so busy with my 11 month-old baby-boy that I can`t find time to work out. My diet is healthy but I must get rid of the extra pounds from my pregnancy. What is a BMI indicator? Any diet ideas? Thank you for answering.

25lb in a month, unless you are very overweight, doesn't sound too healthy. 10-12lb is doable, though.
I've never lost that much weight that fast - the closest was 17lb this past month but I've been sick as a dog the whole time. I have a sinus infection turned pneumonia and I can barely eat and I am not always able to keep what I eat down.

The old Scarsdale Medical Diet promised 10-20-lb weight loss in two weeks. I'm sure you can Google and find it.
But these things are very hard on your body. Why not concentrate on getting as healthy and fit as possible before then?
A really good hair cut and great dress will get more notice than if you are haggard and dragging around.
I completely understand where you are coming from. I have a reunion looming, so lets hope I can take my own advice!

I lost about 23 pounds my first month of South Beach, 13 in the first 14 days. I did not exercise, couldn't due to serious issues with my heart and blood pressure. I did however do deep breathing exercises, about 10 minutes several times a day.
I had a very high BMI so I did have a lot of weight that needed to come off. I did not cheat once, being I was so scared of having a heart attack! I love South Beach because it happened to be the plan that works for me, but also because I am able to make this my lifestyle. No sugar and not BAD carbs. I love veggies so South Beach wasn't that far a stretch for me. I just had to really apply what I already knew. Plus a lot of learning along the journey. I am now 50+ pounds down, 5 months later and loving the results thus far.
I agree with making it healthy though..if you do something harsh just to drop quick pounds, then gain it right back anyway...you're doing more long term harm to your body.
Best wishes to you!
