when I went to the gym I was using the time on the elliptical to watch TV shows on my phone I hadn't time to otherwise. My daughter said she was getting a better work out with music so I started that- what a difference!
So far I've been listening to Florence and the Machine- Dog Days are over and The black keys,Dead and Gone, The killers: All These Things That I've Done, My favorite song right now is Gin Blossoms Follow you Down.
I have tried some things like Pandora or Last.fm but find I don't like them as good as my own music.
So here's a quiz of sorts-to give me and others ideas: What do you workout to?

I just read this from someone else,I like it- kind of like the sunburn song:
Someone who is busier than you is working out right now.

There will come a day when you can no longer do this. Today is not that day!

I like the new song by Kelly Clarkson, "Stronger". Otherwise, my MP3 (no I'm not in the land of the IPOD) has "Pain" by 3 Days Grace, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, and songs by Staind, Papa Roach, and various other artists. I just like things that might push me or have a beat that I can kind of time myself with and get in to. I do like some dance-type music too, depending on the workout. I like to use Pandora on my phone, but there gets a point when I'm finding myself skipping songs and have to switch it up.
Goals for 2015:
Start a running program
Sign up & complete a 5K
Get a bike and use it!

Thanks- just bought 3 mp3's by ting tings- Great DJ, that's not my name and traffic light for cool downs. Not a Kelly Clarkson fan, I'm more of an Aretha's RESPECT type, but I did like 3 days grace. Please keep on suggesting.

WHY THE SCALES LIE
I read that you're somewhere around 60% more likely to keep your weight in check if you weigh daily, but then again 90% of all statistical percentages are made up on the spot. (I just made that up.)

A Diff. Kind of "Scale"
I'd agree with Deb. I'd take a few every couple of weeks. In most cases you're likely looking at a month at least to 'see' the progress.

Grilled Balsamic Chicken
That looks awesome. Unfortunately, I'm fasting today or it would be on for tonight. Will have to wait for tomorrow.

Sunday is Fasting day
Mmm. First coffee. Looks like I may be alone in this fasting Sunday thing. Sunday is really the only day I can do this as 'work' (which I'm loving) can be quite physical. Hope everyone's ...
