Hi Yoli82! I have been walking, I try to do 3-4 miles 3 days a week, on the days I do not walk I ride bike 7-8 miles. We have a trail in the town I live in, so it makes it nice. So, I end up walking or riding about 4 days out of the week. I also have an eliptical that I occasionally get on. Years ago I did pilates, which did work for me, maybe I should put that back in my life. I have thought about lipo, but I do not have the $$ for that. I would rather burn it off myself. I have also been reading that to help burn fat in stubborn spots eat more healthy fats, instead of other fats. So, I just started eating more seeds and nuts and less dressings, butter, and bacon drippings. I would post pics, but I am in underwear showing the difference in my shape.

So, first of all, for those of us Pears out there, we store fat in a better place than the Apples so have been blessed with a good thing ! My personal experience is that I lose ZERO off my backside until I am within 10 lb of my goal, and at that point a measly 5 lb. will take me down 2 or 3 pant sizes (ok, I am a short 5'2", so for you taller folks it might be different). Hang in there !!!

I as well have a major problem with my hips! Especially for Military processing. I myself am pear shaped! I've never tried P90x but heard good things about it---Also, try Jillian Michael's 30-day shred! I've noticed I lost about a inch or so off of my hips and waist--as well as getting them nice and toned. (I'm currently on day 7) I must warn you though its a 20 minute work out but Jillian kicks a**, literally! good luck Smile

lunges lunges lunges, squats squats squats ...if you want to aid this try hypoxi, there should be a gym nearby that offers this (tho it can be pricey) ...you still have to do all the work but they put you in a suit that stimulates blood flow to the areas you want to lose the fat while you are exercising

Muscle and fat are completely different things; they don’t really interact with each other, fat is just stored energy. The thing that both fat and muscle have in common is that you need an energy surplus ...
