Hi all! I eat six small meals per day and track all my food. I would like to be able to add a snack category in between each of the meals on my food diary so I can see what I ate when instead of a mass of food under the one label "snacks". Is there any way to do this???
I hope this makes sense... instead of seeing "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks" as the categories, I'd love to be able to edit it to "Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, Snack". Can I do this and I'm just missing something?

I haven't seen the option to do this but perhaps you can suggest it to the Tech guys of FatSecret. I would love that option too though it does not bother me

we does it matter? meal timing is largely irrelevant in terms of body weight and composition. the major factors affecting weight and composition is daily caloric balance and macronutrient sufficiency.

No option for that, but really shouldn't matter. But if you really want you can make the food item say "10am pretzels or 12noon sandwich" - when you are searching for an item it logs it as you typed it, so you can name it whatever you want.

It does matter to me as I like to have a record of what works for me; how can I get through the day feeling satisfied and full but staying under a reasonable number of calories. I can look back at it at a later date when I need some inspiration/ideas.
I like the time idea NCNOLE....thanks.

weigh in
Good luck! I weigh in every day which has to stop. It is too easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing the scale drop so much in a week-that is because of water weight I am sure.

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
You can use shakes for a few days. I have used the Atkins shakes and they are very good tasting. Soups are good though as stated above you may have to puree them. You could puree or blend cottage cheese ...
