I stayed below or at my calories but i had a lot of my cals from carbs and fat how do i know how much fat carbs and protein i should be having

I divided my calories by the 50-30-20 rule. 50% carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fat. It work very well to slim down. Also to do the calculations you need to know there are 9 calories in every gram of fat.
