90 days? Getting into and staying in shape should be a lifestyle. Good luck but it is as simple as taking in less energy than you expend.
Love your food or risk failure. No quick fixes, this is a lifestyle change. No extremes are needed just consistency.

I gotta say that I'm with Diablo on this. Instead of spending money on products and programs, use the tools here on Fatsecret to count your calorie intake and your exercise, and make sure you have a nice deficit. Maybe 500-1000 calories per day? That would give you 1-2 lbs weight loss per week, give or take.
It really is that simple. Smile If you just take a 90 day program and then go back to your "old ways", then you'll simply regain the weight. Change your lifestyle a little bit, and it can stay off.
Good luck on your journey.

I suggest taking a look at why you keep failing at all of these programs. Are they not sustainable? I would guess that if you stick to them they DO work, the problem for just about everyone is sticking to that program. You need to choose something that you can do forever and then you will succeed at it. If it's this body by vi program then go for it (though I doubt you will pay for a program with a bunch of shakes for the rest of your life).

It's common sense that sustaining any kind of weightloss requires a lifestyle change. To me, the 90 day challenge is only meant to be a jump start to help you get closer to where you want to be and see results, as well as an introduction to a new lifestyle. It is not a long-term program, nor is it advertised as one. If you can get through the 90 days of replacing 2 meals, the results you see will more than likely provide the motivation and routine you need to make the lifestyle change, eat healthier, and exercise to maintain what you have already worked hard and sacrificed for. One of the tricky parts of any diet is getting through the first couple of weeks of feeling like you are starving all the time, which the protein shakes will help with. I get so tired of being so hungry all the time and that is the main reason I have failed some of the other programs. After the first few weeks your stomach will start to shrink a bit and you will feel fuller a lot faster any time you eat. Good luck SamanthaF. Hopefully the 90 day challenge will help you get the results and routine you need to stay motivated beyond the program. I will be starting it tomorrow as well. I have a few family members who have had success with it. (I have already had some success using the Special K drinks to help my body get used to a lower calorie intake without feeling hungry all the time). One tip for you: If I do end up hungry between meals, I have a pack of the Special K strawberry fruit crisps to take the edge off. They are only 100 calories and are amazingly good. Hopefully this program will give us the boost we need to reach and maintain our goals. As long as you have a strong desire to get healthy, any program is worth trying. Trying is the only way you will find one that works for you.

PLEASE KNOW - magic potions, shakes, snack packs all sabotoge you in the end! Just eat what you know is good and healthy - if it comes in a box or bag its probably not so good! Move your body! Its the ONLY way that works and the results will stay.

TRosales...Your plan sums it up perfectly. It's very simple but that's all it takes.

Kellogg's are not interested in providing healthy food. They are after your money! All their cereals and snacks are high in sugar, low fat doesn't equal healthy! Have an apple or a banana instead, less calories and more vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Yep, the problem is planning for day 91, 92, 93. Most programs are successful while you buy into them. But if there was a magic formula, it would be well known and not kept a secret. While losing weight is work, challenging, frustrating.... If you stick with eating healthy and working towards an active lifestyle, then you will succeed in the long term - and that is what is important. It doesn't mater how much weight you lose in 30 days, but how much you can keep off for the next 30 years. (Plenty of people out there saying, I lost 30 lbs. last month, so I know "x" program works. But I'll stick with 4-5 lbs/month and plan on keeping it off forever) You have to learn how to eat for the rest of your life, how to deal with stress to avoid over eating and binging. You have to learn how to manage special occasions, holidays, and the days your coworkers bring in donuts. You have to learn how to get back on the horse after you fall off and not turn it into a situation where you feel you have failed and will always fail. And most of all you have to stay motivated. And then it comes down to energy in vs energy out.

But to defend the original poster, at least it is a start and now you need to work on a long term plan for day 91.

@LaraStar I agree you have to read those labels the only cereal I eat happens to be Kellogg's tho LOL BUT it is the low carb protein plus and I only eat that 2-3 times a week. Other mornings its bacon and eggs with tomato,etc..,key is balance and switching it up everyday you cant feed your body the same things everyday you will burn out and want to binge. You need to keep variety and new things to rotate especially with the seasons changing the abundance of fresh fruits and veggies are going to be great! I am so excited I started at such a good time lol
