Thanks for sharing, no wonder I am injured all the time. Too much stretching!

I really love running. For me it's a bit of timeout. Some time to get inside my own head. It may not be the most efficient way to lose weight (although it has served me well) but I enjoy it and will continue to do it

I'm so glad people are doing away with the carb load myths. Such an easy excuse to go all carb crazy. Proper fueling makes sense. Cort, are you part of the active.com community? I am too.

As I am new to running... I found the stretching myth interesting. I must admit I tend to warm up with a walk... Gradually increasing speed. I do stretch afterwards - mainly because I have "tight" hamstrings - I don't do it excessively then though. I am finding, stretching at odd intervals during the day, is definately helping.... I do it probably 2-4 times a day - depending on how tight they feel.

Search for 'BMR calculator'.... there are different ways of measuring it but you should be able to get an idea.

No time for a workout? Got 7 minutes to spare?

Burpees - Correct Form
I have a love/hate relationship with burpees but they are a great "all in one" exercise. It's easy to get tired and lose form. Thought this was a good video to share. [url=http://yout ...
