I really love running. For me it's a bit of timeout. Some time to get inside my own head. It may not be the most efficient way to lose weight (although it has served me well) but I enjoy it and will continue to do it Smile

I'm so glad people are doing away with the carb load myths. Such an easy excuse to go all carb crazy. Proper fueling makes sense. Cort, are you part of the active.com community? I am too.

As I am new to running... I found the stretching myth interesting. I must admit I tend to warm up with a walk... Gradually increasing speed. I do stretch afterwards - mainly because I have "tight" hamstrings - I don't do it excessively then though. I am finding, stretching at odd intervals during the day, is definately helping.... I do it probably 2-4 times a day - depending on how tight they feel.

Burpees - Correct Form
I have a love/hate relationship with burpees but they are a great "all in one" exercise. It's easy to get tired and lose form. Thought this was a good video to share. [url=http://yout ...
