I have a friend who just started this and I'm at a standstill ... I do protein shakes as it is so I'm not worried about doing meal replacement shakes .. I am, however, worried about adding carbs : / even in the form of fruit and almond milk!

I don't know about this plan. But in general - - I am all for food, actual food, as unprocessed as possible. If buying a product from anyone is a crucial part of the plan, be skeptical. There is no magic way to lose weight. Any nutrients we take in are better off coming from real food rather than a supplement - no man-made thing is better than what nature came up with.

Best wishes.
