So I had a good two weeks on clean induction. Lost 5 lbs not much by many's standards but I am happy with it. Considering I already drank lots of water before embarking on this journey. 15 more to my goal.
Moving in to OWL is a little daunting for me. I have read the book and know to add foods back in a specific order. So this week will start adding some nuts and up my net carbs to 25. Let's see how this goes.
Did anyone else feel unsure about moving on past induction?

I too am to the point of OWL but have hesitation. I fear the 7 pounds I lost will come right back on but I am very sick of the food on induction so I guess it is time.

I know exactly how you feel! They say we're supposed to move on to OWL after the first two weeks, but I stayed in induction for a few months and lost 20 lbs before moving to OWL. To be honest, OWL can be great because there's more food variety, but I found it really difficult to do it right. I've gone back and forth several times and I keep falling off the wagon. I've never made it past the yogurt stage of OWL. I think it forces you to pay really close attention to your body and your cravings, but I'm just not very good at that.

I totally agree. I am only on Day 2 and freaking out a little over staying here or just staying in Induction. Yesterday I added some sunflower seed kernels to my salads and had a few pecans last night. Will try for this week and see what the scale says.

weigh in
Good luck! I weigh in every day which has to stop. It is too easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing the scale drop so much in a week-that is because of water weight I am sure.

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
You can use shakes for a few days. I have used the Atkins shakes and they are very good tasting. Soups are good though as stated above you may have to puree them. You could puree or blend cottage cheese ...

Even though fat doesn't count in Atkins, it can cause you to gain or not lose weight if you consume too much. Be careful of over eating this nutrient. ie: cream, cream cheese.
