I don't know if this will help, but . . BMR gives you your basic metabolic rate; in other words, it tells you how many calories you burn based on your sex, age, weight and height. It accounts for about 2/3rds of your total daily calorie expenditure. You have to multiply that by an activity factor to arrive at your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) which is just what it sounds like. Based on your age, weight, height, sex, and activity level, tells how many calories you are burning a day. Then RDI is the calories recommended for you to either maintain your weight or lose weight. So, if you want to lose a pound, and it takes eating 3500 calories less a week to lose a pound, then your RDI is going to be like ((TDEE X 7)-3500))/7. So, you're comparing apples to oranges, one is useful in calculating the other. Hope I didn't confuse you too much.

I weigh every morning before eating anything, then average it out once a week. Seems to work for me, average loss is one pound a week, which is my target.

OLD article on skipping breakfast
I do the 8 hour window of eating most of the time and it generally works just fine for me. I don't know if it has any special properties but it helps me manage my calories easily Interesting read ...
