I don't know if this will help, but . . BMR gives you your basic metabolic rate; in other words, it tells you how many calories you burn based on your sex, age, weight and height. It accounts for about 2/3rds of your total daily calorie expenditure. You have to multiply that by an activity factor to arrive at your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) which is just what it sounds like. Based on your age, weight, height, sex, and activity level, tells how many calories you are burning a day. Then RDI is the calories recommended for you to either maintain your weight or lose weight. So, if you want to lose a pound, and it takes eating 3500 calories less a week to lose a pound, then your RDI is going to be like ((TDEE X 7)-3500))/7. So, you're comparing apples to oranges, one is useful in calculating the other. Hope I didn't confuse you too much.

need to drop weight fast.
Exercise, develop your body. Eat healthy nutritious foods, not junk. Don't try to lose weight fast or be too skinny for your build. Aim for healthy and toned.

I agree with Saige 18 100%. A daily weigh in while fun, is quite worthless. Any decision to modify your diet, exercise or life style should (IMHO) be based on long term observation, rather than a snap ...
