Monzily - you have to upload your picture to have it available online. I prefer to do it using www.tinypic.com - it's free and you don't have to sign up to use it. Smile Remember to set the right image size/resolution when you upload.

When you want to post pictures, click "Go Advanced" below the text field, and then click the little image that has a pic above the text field.

You will now get a little snippet of text that says (img)(/img) - just paste the link to the pic between the middle brackets. You can click "Preview" before posting to make sure it looks right. Be aware that pictures posted here will be in same size as they are uploaded, so when you use tinypic.com please make sure you choose the right resolution (a good size is 480 pixels wide and whaterver goes with it height - you can do it on the website).

Have fun with it! It's awesome to see everyones progress!

Me at my heaviest, about 194 at Oct of last year, and me maybe two weeks ago, around 176, and the reasons I am getting myself back into some sort of semblance of healthy/in shape ^-^ lol Never really saw myself as being a big girl, but looking at that past picture I cringe. Seeing all the changes (in mine and others pictures) is a huge inspiration and a big motivation to keep going Smile

So, I'm a little over halfway to where I want to be and thought I'd pass along something that I didn't know when I started this journey: you're not always just going to get smaller exactly the same all over and end up a shrinky-dink of yourself - the same, just littler. Sometimes stuff will surprise you!

Example: I realized this weekend that my go-to jeans, Sweathearts from Old Navy (because I'm SO fancy like that), may not work for me anymore.

See attached totally awesome photo. Laughing Legs, clearly still fitting just fine. Waist...not so much. That cut is specifically made to handle curves, so NOW what?! The weird thing is, my waist has always been smaller but I have a wicked mommy tummy complete with c-section flap. A bad one. They tend to cancel each other out, so these should not be big like this up here! Don't get me wrong, I don't want 50lbs of ass back. But it's an interesting development. Heads-up for the new people: be prepared for twists and turns; it's all part of the fun!

Also, please don't be jealous of the completely sexy hair (bun: powered by crochet hook). Somehow it seemed goobier to stop & stage a decent-looking photo than taking the damn thing in the bathroom mirror with craptacular phonetography did in the first place! Very Happy

@lisakp71 - LOL... that's an awesome pic. Love the hair! I'm jealous that you actually have hair! I can grow a manly beard, but the hair on my head will not play along nicely.

Well done, Erie! It's really interesting to see the change in posture in the two marathon pictures.

This was summer 2010. I was 228 pounds, a size 20, and I can't even imagine what my body fat percentage was. I couldn't even walk 3 miles back then. And I started my weight loss journey on Christmas day of that year.

This was Saturday 10/29/2011 after I won my age group in my first 5K race.I'm now 151 pounds, a size 6, 29% body fat, and I run a 7.5 minute mile. Even with only 6 pounds to go, I'm prouder of this win than of anything else I've accomplished thus far because it proves, to me if to no one else, that I'm not just thinner; I'm fitter than I've ever been in my life (even when I ran track in high school!)

I say this not to brag, but to show that you too can do this. If I can, anyone can. I have two young girls, one with very special needs, and I work full-time 45 minutes away from where I live. You can do this folks. Ultreya! Keep on keepin' on!

shmiller, you are a giant superstar stud!! I LOVE this!! I've been kind of sluggish the last few weeks, and this just makes me smile and want to pay better attention to what I'm doing.

You, my friend, just rocked my face off... and for that, I thank you. Very Happy
