According to FatSecret, CardioTrainer and my readout on the eliptical... the calories burned from my workout are all the same (give or take 10 calories). I haven't checked WebMD. I never log daily activities and only real exercise. When on the eliptical I do enter my age and weight and it measures my heart rate. CardioTrainer also takes my weight into consideration for the activity at hand.

@noodle - i had a hard time justifying the cost until i'd stalled for 3 months at the exact same 2 pounds. at that point, i decided the justification would be "look at the amount of money i won't spend on my funeral". (I know, dramatic and all that... but having lost 50 and still being more than 70 over my "healthy" weight, it's NOT really that dramatic.) And it has helped. However, having had the bugg for a month now, and having read everyone's reviews of the GWF, IF they are all true, i'd say that it's webpage is much better, and it's cost is a little lower, so you might as well go with them.
The perk of the bodybugg...hrm..i got a nifty camouflage arm band? (well, the strap is still black, but the plastic casing is camo?!)
