The smell of milk that's turned makes me auto-gag. Ditto the smell of vomit. Egg snot - you know, the uncooked egg white on a fried egg, or inside a poached egg that hasn't been cooked long enough. And if I brush my tongue too far back.

I've never met a cheese I didn't like.

Cooked carrots by themselves. Raw carrots without some kind of dip. They literally make me gag. I'm fine with some kind of extra sauce or flavoring with them, and I love veggie trays with low-calorie dips. :3

Anything super greasy.

Visible hunks of fat on meat.

I also don't eat when I'm really really busy or stressed. I almost neglect my body, if I have to eat or drink and I'm preoccupied with something important.

Knowing that there's way too many calories in something. I won't touch it now.

Overprocessed, salty, cheap foods (banquet dinners, and 95% of the things we sell at the dollar store where I work). I used to eat them a lot while I still lived with my parents, and now they gross me out. Thankfully, due to health issues, their diets have changed as well. Smile

There is really nothing from a food perspective that grosses me out. I'll eat just about any food once, and if it's good, eat more! Probably one of the only things I can recall REALLY not liking was jellyfish, but that didn't stop me from eating the plate full of baby octopus next to it! YUM!

One thing that REALLY suppresses my appetite is an intense Ab workout. If I REALLY work my abs I can't eat for at least an hour. And even then, I can't eat a big meal.

anything with strange texture does it for me, and cheese-like products, kraft american cheese for example, or velveeta. *gag*

I will NOT eat turnip or rutabega. *gross* My boyfriend finds this very odd, as I really enjoy having sashimi at our local sushi bar.

The only external things that turns me off my food are the smell of vomit and the sight of bugs on my food. EEWW!

Rnbwgrl and Foodisevil - Yep! Slugs and dog poo. Those are some of the THE main reasons why I am totally grossed out about eating outdoors. Even if I don't see them, I know they're there. Just can't do it.

And Candyann - Heehehehehee! My husband had to tell me that you probably aren't referring to the band, Menudo. But it still made me laugh and laugh!

Canajun, that is just the connective tissue that keeps the yolk sac in the middle of the albumen, not a chicken embryo.

That makes it sound so much better, doesn't it?

After a food poisoning incident while on a trip to Prague, I can no longer walk by hot dog vendors without wanting to barf. A street hot dog was the last thing I ate before I lost 2 days of my life and vacation!

Oh, yes, connective tissue is much better! Laughing

That's a shame about the hotdog in Prague. I'm sure you got your fill of fried meats and cheese though, nary a vegetable to be found. Well, maybe a pickle. Very Happy

I remember liking circus peanut candy when I was a kid. I also like to chew on shoe laces, so that probably doesn't help.
