What do people do who have chronic issues with pain

I have a bulging disc pressing on a nerve in my back, so my left leg doesn't work right, and degenerative arthritis in both my ankles, so they hurt all the time. Looking for what type of exercise others do. (and NO yoga is not an option, getting up and down off the floor turned me off from it last year)

Water aerobics has been a great option for me with my back issues. Walking is also good. Your MD should be able to suggest things that are appropriate for your condition. If not, have him prescribe a few visits to a PT and they should be able to help.

I would strongly agree with the water aerobics; if you have that option available to you, definitely look into it. Also lower impact machines may be good. I have joint pain and while I like walking and running, sometimes it just isn't an option. Elliptical machines or AMT trainers are better for less joint impact.

So I did the grocery shopping and am geared to go. I came back on here and read some of the food journals of others on Atkins. Why are so many Not eating?? I see people who are eating bare minimum ...

Would like a buddy that can relate to my situation
In the last year I have developed many food allergies. Tomatoes being the highest. Being very limited to my food choices can someone really succeed on an ongoing food plan? Appreciate the feedback.
