New Challenges

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this app/site and I'm really excited for a fresh start on my weight loss journey. I am looking for help and advice from people that have lost weight while not being as physically active and/or are suffering from injuries.

I have lost weight before but I gained it back partially due to injuries to my knees and ankles. After these injuries occurred, I've developed pretty severe arthritis in those areas so my mobility is somewhat restricted at this time. I'm hoping that with weight loss and slowly adding some physical activity in I can regain some of my mobility despite the early onset arthritis.

Any help and advice would be appreciated! And feel free to be "my buddy" Smile . I'm looking forward to being a part of this community!

My best to you. I only do well when I concentrate on what I can do NOW - TODAY. Baby steps...Baby steps...Baby steps!

When I started 3 years ago, I could only do "Chair Yoga" because of my weight and inflexibility. Now .......I do a full yoga practice- floor [35 to 40 mins] 5-7 times a week and Balance and weight workouts 4 times a week. But for me, it has been a very slow progression for weight loss and exercise ability.

In this way...I have come to feel that it is a true lifestyle change.
