Hi I am just starting You on a diet, and have been trying to change my eating habits, I know it looks like there is only about 1,000 calories a day allowed and this is my question. My Dr said in order for me to lose weight the right way I need to eat between 1500 and 1600 calories a day. I have Type 2 Diabetes and take meds for it, I was wondering if anyone else out there is dealing with DM and if it is affecting their BS at all, is it staying regular? Are you adjusting well? I just want to get healthy and do believe this is the diet for me, I have tried everything else
but am determined to make this the year I get healthy!!!
. On another note I "hate" fish is there anyone out there who can recommend some recipes that are allowed and also taste good? The only fish I like to eat is deep fried smothered in tartar sauce but that defeats the purpose. I had a friend recommend ahi tuna, which I haven't been able to find, and my mother suggested mahi mahi, and orange roughy. any help much appreciated.
