Hi there, I have dieted all my life ,even when I did not need to. Now my metabolism is screwd up and menopause really has put a monkey wrench in my weight. Heaviest I've ever been, never had a belly, but now...Got to get this under control. Too much living to do.

I just learned of this site and am post-menopausal for over 10 years, went through depression, weight gain and suicidal thoughts but thankfully with the Lord's help have overcome the depression and suicidal thoughts but not the weight gain. Recently went to an herbalist and he recommended a candida cleanse since I have cravings I can't control, weight gain, allergies and other issues. I've read a lot about nutrition so I feel that I've educated myself in that area however, there's so much to learn and going to this herbalist opened my eyes as to what I was putting in my body. I'd encourage anyone if they have the opportunity to see a herbalist to go, he may put your metabolism back on track. It's not always about exercise, it may be the kinds of foods you are eating and the candida overgrowth that is keeping you from losing weight. Bless all of you!

'm 53 years old too. Exercise is the hardest thing for me. I have to choose exercise or take care of my family, I can't do both, not enough energy.
I have been on the Jorge Cruise Belly Fat Cure for a year now. I follow it loosely then get back on track. I lost 51 lbs so far.To combat fatigue I take supplements, like ginseng, Raspberry Keytones and drink Green and Yerba Mate teas. I'm 53 yrs old and unfortunate don't exercise, but I do take care of a house of pets, 1 daughter and host parties.
My dream since my mother pasted away 5 years ago was to be able to wear her jeans. She was a size 8-10 when she passed away, but I have her 12 petites she wore when she was healthier. Anyways, I got brave this week and put on a light girdle and tried them on. I could actually zip & button them up!
Here is the photo my daughter took with my cellphone:

Ditto to Glaun with an added. It took a long time to gain, it will take time to get rid of it and don't get disappointed if it doesn't happen overnight. It won't. Promise.

I'm Back
I used to eat fried fish with tartar sauce. Now I bake my fish and then add either lemon juice or balsamic vinegar to punch up the flavor, which saves a bunch of calories.
