need a buddy

hi i joined fatsecrets a week ago, and realy need some freinds to help me on my way , ive never had a friend to help me before, and dont realy know if im honest what is expected of me, i am very good at encouraging others, in no matter what thay wont to acheive, but some how along the way forget about myself.

Im not doing slimming world but I know of it Im at my goal but let me tell ya it's no picnic keeping it off just as hard as the dieting was! but I ve gotta be strict with myself thats why Im here counting every calorie i eat and logging in all the crap I seem to eat when I know I shouldn't but hey ho Im enjoying this site and will help ya all I can.

i live in stoke-on-trent seven minutes away from the university hospital of north staffordshire, known as the city general to locals, i live as you might say on its door step. had a lot of heartache over the past few years, i am the third youngest of ten, 07 not a good year for me, dad died when i was 15. lost my sister cathrine when she was 55yrs old (car accident in south africa 97) 2000 my sister ann died with cancer age 59, 07 march mum died 85yrs, april uncle died age 60, augast youngest sister diagnosid with breast, lymph nodes and bone metes, october eldest sister diagniosed with breast,lung and now cancer cells flouting around her brain, and to end our year my father-in-law went into hospital for an operation and died, my weight just went on and on and on, i have now got to get control of it for my own health, i work part time, help to care for my sisters and am helping to bring up my little grandson who is going to be 7 yrs old tomorrow but hy thats an other story, bin a long day and need to get soms shut eye hope to hear of you soon happy hoppy

I have read your bio ! Im here for you I understand where you are coming from I lost my dad to lung cancer also 8 years ago although sometimes it feels like yesturday! I lost my son at twelve months old which they said after tests there was no reason for him to have died so they put it down to cot death just 5 days after his birthday he would have been 19 years old this year!
I believe it 's emotional eating that has hindered me love although I gained weight after stopping smoking,
I look back at my photos of me when my son died and I was anorexic looking replacing food for cigarrettes ! I need to be as healthy as I can as we all do Im pleased to be your friend on here happy dieting love catch ya soon and nitey night!
