If you go into the "my account" settings you can set it to share and hide whatever you want. Personally, I keep it all open. Even if no one ever looks at it, I still get embarassed when I pig out on too much crap. Every now and again someone will comment on my journal, but not too often. If you get stuck in a rut and ask for help, people will often look at your diet and exercise journal before giving advice.
