Hi you All,
I am not new on fatsecret, but I give this LCHF a try and in 6 weeks, I lost 5 kilos (11lbs).
It was not easy for me to eat cheese and sausages at first. It's been years since I have had a slice of saucisson (I am French
)
I have choosen PerpetualDieter as a nickname since I started my first diet 15 years ago, almost half of my life.
My mother and both my grandmothers are morbidly obese. My mother went under the knife twice to fix her stomach.
I know I'll have to struggle all my life with my weight as well.
If God would grant me 1 wish, I'll ask to eat all that I want without gaining weight.
I have been yoyo-ing for years as well. I have been from anorexia (45kg) to bulimia (75kg) and know I am determine to stop this vicious circle for good.
In 2012, I would do whatever it takes to be thin again; search in pro-ana websites, spending fortunes in pills and powder food, exhaust myself at the gym, going to bed with an empty and screaming stomach. ..and when I stopped I gain like 10k in 1 month!!! I have never been that fat in my whole life! When I would look at my body, I felt like I have past the point of no return. I had no motivation for another diet, but I couldn't stay this way. I felt that I had no choice.
I came across the ketogenic diet via hyper-protein powder food (which has disastrous side-effect by the way)
I was very skeptical at first since I have plateaued after 2 weeks only, but now the fat is melting away. I feel that I am in control of my body. And it feels great!

Ketogenic is the way to go. Read 'Fat chance' by Dr Lustig. It gave me the strength I needed to cut sugar out of my diet. Scales are going down nicely.
