Hey everyone I have been doing Biggest Losers Boot Camp DVD for a few weeks now and LOVE it. However, I dont know how many calories i am really burning. Does anyone know what the average calories burned during levels 1, 2, & 3 are? I am def. pushing myself as hard as i can and working up a good sweat so i know its a lot LOL

Good for you. I have some of their DVD's as well. It is difficult to estimate the calories burned because it's a mix of different types exercise all at once. If I really want to estimate the calorie burn, I will either divide it in categories such as how many minutes of weights and how many minutes of cardio or I'll search online for a "calorie burn calculator" and narrow it down as best as I can with the exercises they provide for.

I recommend getting a heart rate monitor that counts calories, I find they're quite accurate and convenient instead of messing around with adding types of workouts together. Just wear it for your workout and it tells you at the end (which can motivate you to work harder!)

You can use an online calculator to estimate based on "aerobics" or "calisthenics," but be sure to use one that takes your weight into consideration. Other than that, if you're really interested and willing to spend a little money on it, search these threads for info on the BodyBugg or a similar monitor that measures your calories burned for you.
