To do weights first and then aerobics. If you can't run on threadmill do rolling hills that way you will burn more calories.

Ok this is my exercise at the moment, is this sufficiant? Start off with 20min brisk walking on treadmill, weights for 20 min alternating between legs on one day and upper body the next day, then back to treadmill for another 20 min brisk walk? Please help as I am stuck with this routine for 3 months now, is this sufficiant and should I do anything for my bulging belly?

In my opinion the best type of exercise to increase weight loss is Interval Training and more specifically H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training). There are a few at home exercise programs that I know that use these methods and they are phenomenal. You may have heard of them Insanity and Turbo Fire. I have personally done them both and utilize similar methods of training they use short periods of Intense exercises with short periods of rest in between and really get your heart rate going up and down which helps boost calorie burns.

Honestly - the best type of exercise is the one that you will do. Probably the one you want to do, because then you spend less time counting down the seconds until you're done, and you just enjoy yourself. Smile

Does anybody really think that they didn't get what they had because they didn't have the talent or the strength or the endurance or the commitment?

Anything you will do on a consistent basis--and mix it up! Cardio is great for fat burning--but, weight training builds muscles and muscles burn more fat at rest. So, a combination of cardio & weights, with mixing it around with different exercises so you keep your body "guessing" is best. But again--the one you will do several times a week, every week is the best!

cardio training only burns fat whilst you are performing it, where as HIIT or weight training can continue to burn fat for even a day depending on the intensity. Its a good idea to combine cardio with both of these training types for a warm up and to improve cardio/endurance. I would suggest a circuit of body weight/weight exercises that use different muscles each time, this way you can reduce the rest period between exercises, increasing intensity and adding a cardio element to your workout.

All of them or none of them. No exercise is better than the other at weight loss because weight is a factor of caloric balance. Exercise isn't needed to loss weight.

Lift heavier weights. One of the biggest mistakes that women make ( I am not saying you are, just throwing it out there in case it applies) is that when they lift weights they are lifting like 15lb weights. Which is totally fine if that's all you can lift, but as you get stronger, increasing the weight is vital. So please keep increasing. You should be able to do between 6-10 reps in good form, but struggling on the last one or two. HIIT is also great advice. I hope this helps!

Best time for doing exercise, morning or night?
I prefer to exercise in the morning too. Partly because by the time evening rolls around, I'm worn out (two toddlers will do that to you) and partly because I just know me. If I get up at 5:30am, ...
