So if you base your calorie consumption based on activity calories, you may not lose anything or, worse, gain. Took me a long time to learn not to rely on the activity log on this site. I agree with mrspackrat, the calories burned is estimated too high, so if you have a heart rate monitor you may want to use it. I still use the site, but I just know the deficit won't be as much. I'm doing okay, but just staying pretty steady. I'm here to learn healthier habits and the weight loss is a bonut. I've found a lot of great tips on this site and I hope you do too. I hope you find success here!!

Yes, I thought that the whole "calories per day" thing was a bit wonky. I burn an awful lot through exercise, though... Anywho, I am just using the site's calorie tracking tools for now.
