I agree with mrspackrat, the calories burned is estimated too high, so if you have a heart rate monitor you may want to use it. I still use the site, but I just know the deficit won't be as much. I'm doing okay, but just staying pretty steady. I'm here to learn healthier habits and the weight loss is a bonut. I've found a lot of great tips on this site and I hope you do too. I hope you find success here!!

Yes, I thought that the whole "calories per day" thing was a bit wonky. I burn an awful lot through exercise, though... Anywho, I am just using the site's calorie tracking tools for now.

They're generally too high here. Most of us use other online calorie calculators and then change our RDIs here. Draglist's website diettruth.org has some links.
