Question This is the formula-calculate your BMI-establish your goal weight which will be 2 below your present BMI.If your BMI is 30, your goal weight will be at a BMI of 28. Follow fatsecret until you reach your goal weight by lowering your BMI and weight as you lose weight. This method allows for lowering your calorie intake slowly. Keep your DRI at 25% fat; 15-20% protein and the rest should be carbohydrates 55-60%.

That's a good idea for anyone that needs more immediate goals to keep them going!

I actually found that I needed to keep my eye on the end-goal instead and was much more successful once I put in my real goal instead. It's obviously just how my brain works.

Funny how different things work for different people, isn't it? Guess you just got to experiment to find what's right for you Smile

Great weight loss, congratulations! I can imagine how difficult it must be to weigh 100kg, with a goal weight of 60kg. By using the above mentioned method of calculating your energy needs it will be easy to go on a calorie reduced diet, it is a method for reducing your calorie intake as you lose weight, with the actual goal in mind. A sudden dramatic reduction of calories can not be sustained.
