Just a quick note to the Android dev team. I had not used the app for a couple of months and just started back up after updating.

Well done!

I am a software developer and so a big fan of nice intuitive, easy-to-use software. Calorie counter is now one of the best I've seen.

Keep up the good work.

I have to completly agree!!! I love the Android app!
I've been using it for use over a month now and am seeing some results Smile
I find it really motivationg to be able to see what Cals i have eaten and what i have burned off!! Helps me say no when i can see I only have so many cals left for the day!
But today I activated the widget and since the app has been crashing on me : ( but as a positive outcome I have been using the website tonight, signed myself up for the 8 glasses a day Callange and discovered a few more things I couldnt do on my phone!!
I'm a bit of a geek and love being able too combine my weight loss goal with technologie!

Thank you team keep up the amazing work!!!

It looks like it has potential, at the moment the app isn't syncing up to the web account - "incorrect user ID or password" despite doing it initially. The web page is crashing all over the place too - unless I'm just being unlucky?

Annoyingly it all worked for a couple of hours before going belly up, so I'm hoping I've just caught it at a bad time as it looks great!!

Just started app 5 days ago but it is great for keeping track of INTAKE and love that I can balance that with calorie OUTPUT in the exercise option. But still can't get it to log in the web site for some reason. It really is going to help keep me on track.

I have been using the Android app since the end of July, along with the website. I have had no problem with either of them. No crashing and they sync fine!! I just love the fact that I can use the phone app while I am away from my computer and when I get on the computer everything I have put in during the day is there! Life is sweet . . . now if I could just lose the weight as easily!! LOL

Have been using Calorie Counter off and on since January and lost 25lbs mainly by paying attention to my caloric intake and making smarter decisions! (Droid HTC Incredible)

Keep it up, Triaby! I just started using FatSecret, and so far I'm loving the additional involvement that comes with it compared to using Calorie Counter alone! (HTC Incredible)

I found FatSecret via the app, and I owe EVERTHING to it. I could not have neither found the tools or the motivation to lose weight had it not been for it.
Gotta love it! In the future, I will not buy a phone that is not FatSecret compatible. Smile

Hmmm.... I am using the android app on my new Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android 2.3.5), but the sync button gives me a message saying "sync is currently inactive, please try later" or something like that. Is it just me or are other people having that too?

Is it just me, or does everyone else have to log in to their Android app every time they open it? I can't figure out how to make mine save my use/pass. Android on Google Nexus One.

Other than that, it's super.

It's just you Sirlaffalot - just kidding of course!! But, I don't have to log in on my phone. I just click the calorie count app and I'm there. Is there a way, when you log in, to click "remember me" or something like that?

I'm using an LG Optimus S - which I don't recommend!! It was free at the time and has served it's purpose. Will be joining the majority and getting an iPhone soon.
