Hey, everyone. I'm new to this site and looking to lose weight. I'm counting my calories trying to stick to between 2000 and 2500 calories a day. I need to lose weight for my health. I have arthritis in the knee's and I'm going to start walking very slowly and hope it will strengthen my legs. I don't have access to a pool, or any other equipment so walking is my only choice. I'm also looking for buddies, to go along with me on my journey. Hope everyone has a great day!!

I also started this because my knees were giving out on me. I use that as my motivation every time I was tempted to give up. So far have lost about 60 pounds and have another 90 to 100 to go.

I could stand to lose 100 lbs, but set my initial goal at 40 which, I feel, is pretty aggressive. I have much arthritis in my lower back and this, right now, prevents me from walking and playing golf.

I am hopeful that the weight loss will allow me to get back to some activities.

Avocados
Avocado mixed with salt, pepper, chives, a little white vinegar just to make smooth. Mix it up and spread it on bread w/ a tomato and spinach leaves! THE BEST!!!

If I weigh myself daily I know the result is a myth. There are too many variables to rely on a once a day reading, such as water retention, forgotten calories,temperature/humidity on scale reading (either ...
