Tomorrow I'm driving from my small, one-grocery-store town to Austin to go to the Whole Foods Market there. Please give me some tips and suggestions for "must-haves" and things I should stock up on to survive/thrive on this program. I'm excited to go and look for some of the things I've been reading about on here and on the Forum since I still have not received my book yet.

you really need to get the book- this isn't a plan where you just get a menu list- it's a program that you have to understand. Please for your own benefit get the book. And there are copyright laws that forbid us from disclosing the whole plan anyway. I like Dooley, I don't want her to get in any trouble: Please ger thte book.

What is the big rush? I don't think you should drive to austin yet. I think you should wait for your book and read it first. You will end up buying too much of the wrong things and it's quite expensive, A few days is not going to hurt- just do what was recommended -eliminate whites (sugar & flour) and caffeine- it is rediculous to think you've picked up enough to follow the plan. Believe me, it's not that simple. wait for your book & supps, then start next week after you read it. You will end up buying the tong things otherwise. the book lays out brands, kinds of foods, etc. please do yourself a favor and wait for your book.

It is a good idea to get the right things in the house so you can start out with all the right stuff.

Fruit
Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries. I've been putting frozen raspberries in my protein shake.

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
