I have tried to eat a MIM twice now and find it gritty/mealy. I wonder if I can like these soon because they can be used like bread for toast or sandwiches.Any comments?

maybe it's your flax meal. I think the golden kind has a better flavor than the darker one.
and are you using the Atkins recipe?

Could be the brand, also. I had that same issue until I switched to Bob's Red Mill Golden Flax Meal. That, and after I stir it like crazy I let it sit and rest for a minute before cooking. Seems to help!

Ha, Hodgson was the one that I had first and didn't like, either! I did use it up, though, cause like you said, it wasn't too cheap, then I switched to Bob's. Maybe by that time I'd just gotten used the texture! LOL

For me, walking (aim for 10,000 steps a day) or jogging, and eating 60g (or less) of net carbs a day dramatically reduces belly fat.
