Okay ladies I do need some help with the Psyllium that we put into the LLC... I can not even get down two sips before I gag on the texture. I thought that I had read on ivillage that you can take Psyllium pills do you know if this is fact? If so how many do I take to compensate? I have 500mg capsules!
Thanks in advance for your help!

The problem I had with the pills was they stuck in my throat and swelled up. With the psylium husks I recommend put the water in the glass, spoon in the psylium and drink while stirring. I often need to add more water to get the remainder from the bottom of the glass. I do find it hard to get down if it sits even for a second, but if I keep adding water as I am drinking it I can get it down. What a process eh? But I really do best with the psylium in the AM and the Flax seed in the PM.
I use to take 4 capsules... but don't know what you should take.
Oh I also do my psylium in plain water and then drink my cran water after. I have trouble chugging the cranwater fast enough to get the psylium down before it clumps up. (plus I found I was dribbling it on my shirt and then would have to go change and wash out the cranberry before it stained) AS I said "What a process"

My solution to this Fat Flush dilema is to WHISK the psylium husks in 1 cup of cran-water WHILE using a straw to suck it all down. Just make sure to use a larger glass to avoid spilling.
Stirring and drinking at the same time eliminates clumping and it takes 10-20 seconds to drink it all. The only problem I have with this method is that I can get brain freeze if the cran-water is too cold. But you want it cold. . . it's easier that way.

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
