I got the info on this diet from Womans World magazine, but I don't think it gives enough detail. I expected to lose more weight than I did on the first 3 days.

The magazine does not give enough detail. You should pick up a copy of the Fast Track Detox Diet which the article is a part of. Or the Fat Flush book...do the 1 day juice fast then jump into either the FTTD or do phase 1 of fat flush.

Right, I wouldn't pay anyone. Find a plan that works and stick to it. There are lots of books at the library. Track your food on FS.

Low carb question
I try to keep mine to 30g net per meal and lost 25 lbs in 2 -2 1/2 months. The nurse on my diabetes team recommended 45 per meal and 15 for snacks. I might add a few after I reach my weight loss goal ...

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
