I was just in the store purchasing lemon juice, and a guy behind me (obviously saw the ingredients in my basket) and stated that bottled lemon juice wouldn't work for the Fat Flush.

I've been using this for the hot water and lemon. Is this wrong? If it is, what's wrong with bottled lemon juice?

HiSmile
Fresh is always better than canned, bottled or frozen. My rule of thumb is, look at the list of ingredients on the bottle of "natural" lemon juice. If that's the only ingredient, go for it. If there's sugar/sucrose added, don't worry about saving a few pennies, and buy fresh. Sometimes you can get discounted/bruised fruit that is still very fresh at a discount. BTW, if you roll the lemon or lime (using your palm) on the counter a few times before cutting into it, it's juicier.
Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure he's wrong. Lemon juice is lemon juice, and as long as its 100% and contains no sugar/additives it's kosher to the fat flush way. Of course fresher IS always better, I agree with jo, but that doesn't mean bottled is worse.

Okay, *whew*. Smile I just looked, though, and there's a lot of extra "stuff" in it...no sweeteners, but preservatives or...something. I think I'll go and see if I can find some of the natural bottled at least. Smile I never thought to look for natural bottled lemon juice, I just figured it all was natural.

And I consider myself a label-reader! Smile I learned yet another lesson today. Thanks!

Hi again. I just purchased a whole bag of key limes for less than $2 Canadian. They keep really well. Haven't tried freezing them yet. Keep an eye out for bargainsSmile If you can find them in God's country up north, you can find them anywhere lol!

I tried using the lemon juice that what is the produce department that said all natural, but noticed when someone gave me a big bag of lemons, that I lost water and cellulite faster.

I get organice fresh squeezed (local) lemon juice and Santa Cruz organic lemon juice - both have pulp. The girl behind the counter said the real lemons are more satisfying and or filling but if you dont have time or energy in the morning to squeeze a lemon then well - what's worse lemon juice or grabbing a candy bar?
