does anyone have a recipe for salsa, for phase 2

Think "fresh"... chopped tomato, cilantro, jalapeno, green onions, bit of chopped celery, mashed garlic, plus sprinkles of coriander and other ff spices. Let sit for a couple of hours. I've also added mango!

From the Fat Flush Forum (loads of recipes!):


3 tomatoes
3-5 tomatillos
1-2 jalapeno
1/2 green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
6 scallions (whites only)
Handful cilantro (more if you like)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Juice from one lime (more if you like)

Grill the tomatoes and tomatillos on bbq until skin is charred and soft on inside, about 10 minutes. Remove; let sit while you get the other things prepared. Put green bell pepper, jalapenos, garlic, scallions, cilantro (all ingredients slightly chopped) into food processor.

Add apple cider vinegar and lime juice and blend in food processor on pulse until well mixed. Add the tomatoes and tomatillos blend again until well mixed.

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
