Don't worry, I'm back, back in town. Feeling terrific because I know I WAS doing the right things and it just took a little time to show up on the scales.

I wasn't eating any processed carbs, that would definitely be a no no.

Must have walked at least 2 miles over the weekend. Very pleased with that.

Well I learned to be patient and realize that the body, especially being a woman, can fluctuate over 3 pounds in any one day! I started to weight train (lift weights) and gained 4 lbs. in a week! This was just water retention, a trainer pointed out, but I realized to focus on how I felt, and also use a measuring tape to meaure my bust, waist, hips, thighs, legs and arm. I was leaning up after all! I've heard this time and again...slow weight loss is the best weight loss! Anything faster than 1-3 pounds a week could be just water or even precious muscle which if lost is very difficult to regain (talk about soreness.....) I learned I didn't have to kill myself at the gym but that exercising a litle everyday helped tone me up and keep up my metabolism so I could eat more. Fat Flush is a great plan because it stresses healthy food, but it does take time...

Carbs withdrawal......
I've been having some headaches lately and just wondering if it has anything to do with change of diet. I did some reading up and was quite surprised to know that this is one of the effects of carbs ...

I did well today!!!!
thank you all for the compliments.... and yes, it was a choice. I felt a tinge of pity and guilt subjecting colleagues to consuming the donuts but I had to keep up the leaving do rituals.

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
