This link was on my FB.... Some interesting stuff.... Especially the 30,20,10 second interval training.

I have read about the high intensity interval training as superior to steady state aerobic workout. But it seems what they aren't saying is that you have to be in excellent aerobic condition to do them. They aren't intended for beginners who are out of shape.

As someone who is pretty fit anyway (I run interval/effort sessions, I run marathons) but have decided to give this 20 or 30 second burst of all-out b*lls-to-the-wall training 3 times in a sessions (so 3 lots of 20 or 30 seconds) 3 times a week to see what changes/affects it has.

True but I kept the weight off years it was only a surgery a new relationship with someone that eats poorly that made me regain 20lbs.
