How do we get the website to remove the GROUPON advertizement of a BIG JUICY hamburger from the main page?
It really doesn't help me in my weight loss.

Um, I don't see an ad for Groupon. In fact, I do not think I hae any ads on my FS homepage.

If you think my post is too abrasive, harsh, or offensive, you're:
A) Wrong.
B) Too sensitive.
C) Not going to receive an apology for pointing it out.

Your very first post is to complain about the advertisements that show up on a FREE site? Just ignore the occasional advertisements you may not like. LOL

Ha ha, I am fine with the hamburger, but a lot of times I get the groupon advertisement with a HUGE sundae on the side. Thanks for inducing cravings groupon!

I don't know who decides what ads you get.
I am getting 'God's Love' and 'marriage' ads.

I use Firefox with the do not track feature enabled so 90% of the time I see Fatsecret ads on the side. Once in a while one will sneak through, but most often they're harmless. Often the ads are based on what pages you have been to that are in your cache.

Yep, they pick ads for you based on your browsing history, things you've typed in, etc. Clear your history, cookies, etc, and it should help Smile

Have you lost weight on Atkins without exercise?
Just curious PerfectDove..... why would you revive a 4 year old post about Atkins and post a site that has nothing to do with Atkins? congrats on your weight loss and finding what works for you.

trim down diet
Right, I wouldn't pay anyone. Find a plan that works and stick to it. There are lots of books at the library. Track your food on FS.

Those nacho cheese ball things are horrible! My mother in law likes them and gave me a pack and I could barely choke down the whole thing!
