Weekends Wreck My Scales!

I'm new here and I hope by posting daily will help keep me accountable. I've signed up for challenge,LOSE 12 BY THE TWELVE DAYS OF XMAS, so we'll see if that helps.

I did so well with the scales and eating last week and now here it is Monday and the scales is UP UP UP!! I've got to eat more regularly on the weekends and pick better choices. If anyone else has had this issue with the weekends and have any suggestions I would certainly like to hear them.

Hi. I started my diet last week and was fearful when it came to the weekend but I think I did okay. Planning ahead is the key ! Saturday I knew I would be at an outdoor festival so I packed my own snacks such as rice cakes and almonds. I did eat at the festival (barbecue plate) however I shared it with someone. Sunday was football mania so again I took my own healthy munchies such as popcorn,carrots, celery, broccoli, almonds, and fat free ranch dressing for dipping. Best of luck !

Falcon Mom...you are definitely doing it right! When I first started LAWL back in 2007 I too was very careful and took my own snacks. I'm pretty sure I need to go back to that thinking but after being in maintenance for 2 years it's hard to go back. Thanks for wishing me luck I will certainly need it!

So I weighed and up by 300g. The scale is more than acurate. But, I rather have a scale where I weigh more than less and have a surprize when I have to weigh somewhere else. Will see in the coming wEeks. ...

Don't reduce fats, or at least the healthy ones. Just get rid of processed/refined carbs, they are useless to your body anyway and are extra calories you don't need.
