Starting Slim fast tomorrow! Any tips please :)

The best advice I could give us stick to the plan as well as you can, I don't know if you are from the UK like me (I know the plan in other countries is slightly different) but I find if I have a shake, a meal bar and 3 snacks as stated as well as my 600 calorie meal you don't get hungry...just remember to space them out, the whole point is to keep your metabolism going to prevent you getting hungry.

I've lost 24lb in 7 weeks and stuck to it pretty well and managed to go out for meals with friends too. Most places have their menus and nutritional info on a website so you can make a sensible choice before you go.

Main three things that have helped me - resist the temptation to nibble, space the eating out and record everything you eat on here, I have the blackberry app for on the go and it has definately kept me on the right track.

Hope this helps a little bit (I know I ramble a bit!)

I refuse to eat slim fast becuase they use hydrogenated oils, and even though it says no trans fat, that can mean up to .49 grams, so if most of your diet consists of those foods you could potentially be getting a couple grams of trans fats and that just pisses me off because its supposed to be healthy. any how... done ranting, the walmat slim fast generic is AWESOME never tried any of the powders, i havent even looked at the ingredients. Good luck though, eating every couple hours, no matter what diet is a good plan.

A good diet plan and proper exercise is what you need. Coupled with self-discipline and determination, you can achieve what you want. I suggest paleo diet for you because it works for me. You can try it to see the effective result. Smile
