Since starting the sugarbusters diet, i've noticed how much my body craves sugar and how much better i feel when I have some. Its not so bad when i am at work, probably cause I'm distracted, but the weekend is where I find I'm snacking every hour. Coffee is good to suppress the cravings but i dont want to go from a being sugar junkie to a coffee junkie.

Hi Eshell,
I am a Sugar Addict! I haven't looked at the diet you are doing, however I will do so. Have you found any other substitutes other than coffee, do tell...? Thanks

I just been drinking my coffee without sugar which will take some getting used to. I'm considering trying green tea but havent had the chance pick some up yet. There is this little shop around the corner from where i work which has a best variety of mixed nuts and dreid fruits. I'm sure the nuts are ok for the sugarbusters diet, but the dried fruit is probably laced with sugar as it so sweet. I will keep you posted.

Hi, I am just starting on sugar busters as I have a real sweet tooth and believe that cutting down on sugar will stimulate the loss of those 10lbs... Can you have Splenda on the sugarbusters diet? I love it as a sugar substitute in the several cups of coffee I consume daily!
